Code of Ethics and Standards Practice

All LACAA Members strive to be dedicated, ethical and professional in the performance of
their duties. The nature of work in the service of seniors, as in other care giving relationships,
is such that they may occasionally encounter situations that call for carefulethical and moral
consideration.
For that reason this LACAA Member Code of Ethics and Standards Practice has been de-
veloped to provide a ready reference point for LACAA Members for use when difficult
situations are encountered. It is also provided to ensure quality and to further protect the
interests of Members and LACAA.
